PRACTICE FAIRWAYS AND BAYS
The main practice fairway at Glenbervie is flat and over 300 yards in length, allowing all clubs including driver to be hit. For the benefit of members and visitors alike, range balls (at a nominal cost) are provided for use on this fairway. The fairway is generously broad, good for those golfers who are not perhaps the straightest of hitters. The fairway's under-cover practice bays allow for effective practice whatever the weather. Sheltered from the elements, rain and wind won't affect your swing or halt play here. And when the weather is good but underfoot conditions are soft, the neighbouring all-weather hitting surfaces presents turf-like feel all year round for practicing your iron play.
The second practice fairway, adjacent to the 6th hole on the championship course, is also a very good size, being both long and wide. This fairway is designed for players who prefer to practice using their own golf balls, rathen than the range balls provided on the main practice fairway.
There is no doubt that the practice fairways at Glenbervie are some of the best in Central Scotland and a strong attraction to both members and visitors.
